Foam boat fender aare widely used for the protection of Ships and Quay walls during berthing operations. These Foam Filled Boat Fenders are called "mobile" because they do not have a fixed position but they could guarantee safe operation between ships / piers or during berthing of the ship, even under the harshest conditions (bad weather or exposure).

The specifications of the foam-filled fender are determined with the help of our technical department based on the size (displacement, length, width, draft) of the vessel under consideration and the berthing conditions.

A thick coating of PU is sprayed onto the PE foam core, thereby improving its performance and to give the fender increased resistance against abrasion during operations on Quay Walls, piers, jetties and/or aggressive surfaces.

With Chain and Tyre Net Foam boat fender

This is the most common model; the Fender is crossed by a chain of variable size that allows fixation on each end via a flange and shackle. Externally fitted swivels are recommended to prevent the chain from wrapping on itself and wearing out prematurely. This configuration is suitable for a horizontally floating Fender (and cannot operate in a vertical position).

The chain emerges through two metal end flanges. Shackles tension and maintain the chain. In this configuration, the diameter of Fenders ranges from Ø300 mm to Ø4000 mm.
